FAQ Answers:

What’s with all the “Free” asterisks? Are these products and services free or not?
On Orders $100.00 and Over…
On Orders $100.00 and Over… The Page Seed fund raising program has no minimum orders and no extremely high sales requirements to attain 65% profits. We offer free shipping and free sales materials on all orders over $100.00. The free $50.00 wildflower meadow offer for program commitments by February 1st, 2010 is also free on orders of $100.00 or more. Due to the escalating costs of order processing and in our efforts to maintain 65% profitability for our program, we are unable to supply free product and services to orders of less than $100.00. A $100.00 product order to Page Seeds means your scout group must only sell $300.00 worth of product (about 30 items @ $10.00 each). This is a very easy threshold to hit with even 3-4 scouts. Orders of less than $100.00 will be billed at a flat rate of $25.00 for order shipping and supplied sales materials. Back to FAQ’s
How is your product eco-friendly?
Eco-Friendly!
Unlike so many fund raiser programs, Page Seed’s program offers a wholesome product. All our packaging and sales materials are produced from post consumer recycled paper. As for our product… seeds are the original eco-friendly product! Even our address is “Green”! 1A Green Street, Greene, NY. Back to FAQ’s
Do people really purchase seeds? I’m not sure seeds have a wide enough appeal.
Genuine Sales Appeal!
Surveys continue to show that gardening is the most popular hobby/outdoor activity in American households. This past spring, retail seed sales were up 30%! Your organization will be providing a product that most households will purchase at retail during the spring season. This is a great change from the fund raising products that people buy, but really don’t have an immediate need for. See the full brochure here. See individual items and product descriptions below:

I’ve never heard of a seed fund raising program. Who is Page Seed?
American Owned and Operated for Over 110 Years!
So many fund raising programs on the market offer items of suspect quality from overseas manufacturers. What you choose to sell can’t help but reflect on your scout group. The Page Seed Company has been doing business in the same location in Greene, NY since 1896! All of our seed products exceed state and federal standards for quality. The individual seed packets are the same ones found at quality retail locations nationwide. Back to FAQ’s
How exactly does a Page Seed fund raising program offer a “true value”?
A Solid Value!
Our garden collections all contain actual Page Seed retail seed packets. These packets sell at retail locations for $1.59 per packet. The $15.00 Salad Spectacular Garden Collection contains 10 of these packets… an over $15.00 retail value. That’s a value your buyers will be happy to purchase from your school’s organizations year after year. Parents will thank you for allowing them to offer a great value and useful product to friends and family. Compare that to the over priced candy bars, popcorn, cookie dough, and other products buyers have become so frustrated with year after year. Back to FAQ’s
What type of a sales incentive prize program do you offer?
Simple, Straightforward, No Games or Gimmicks!
That’s easy… we don’t have one! Tired of some fund raising programs offering all types of prizes and sales incentive programs? Knowing all the while that the cost of that program is just coming out of your profits? We make it simple… sell a great product, at a great price, and make a better profit for your scout group’s needs. Back to FAQ’s
Doesn’t selling all those single seed packets get complicated? How can we make any money selling a packet of seeds?

Aren’t seeds hard to grow? Don’t most people these days just buy plants?
Need for Seed
Page Seed wants everyone to be a successful gardener. We have selected varieties that are very easy to grow from seed. Complete growing instructions for each variety are included on the individual packets. Most all varieties included can be directly sown in garden soil after all danger of frost has passed. Some varieties may benefit from starting a bit earlier indoors, but in most cases all the varieties here will provide excellent results in your area. Back to FAQ’s
